Hungries

DefteJabaama, wuuri taaFungus2010 haa ñalnde hannde

Hungries are humans taken over by a fungus in M. R. Carey's novel, set in post-apocalyptic England. Most lose their minds and feed on the healthy, but the children born to them keep their intelligence. The novel ends with the spores released so that this second generation can rebuild the world.1
