The Family

The Omega Man replaces Matheson's vampires with the Family, a cult of nocturnal albino plague mutants. They have a leader, lay siege and fight with archaic weapons, which puts them at the intelligent end of the infected spectrum. It was the second film version of I Am Legend, with Charlton Heston in the lead.12
