Alphas are the intelligent zombies of Zack Snyder's heist film, set in a quarantined Las Vegas that is about to be destroyed by a nuclear strike. They have an organised society led by Zeus and his queen. Snyder's first feature was the 2004 Dawn of the Dead.12
